I've been a designer and entrepreneur since 2015, helping women turn their ideas into brands, businesses, websites, and creative work they're proud to put into the world. In 2021, my husband and I welcomed our fourth son, and somewhere between raising four boys and working 50+ hour weeks, I realized the freelancer life I'd built started to feel more like the traditional J.O.B. We were making good money, but I was craving the freedom that I thought more money was supposed to give us.
Then, in January 2022, we unexpectedly lost both of my in-laws just 18 days apart. I met my mother-in-law when I was 15. She was the one who introduced me to my husband, and they became like second parents to me over the years.
Losing them both, so close together, changed something in me. I couldn't stop thinking about how short this life really is and why spending it building a life that doesn't feel like your own, made zero sense to me after that. Later that year, I made the decision to step away and rebuild my business around the freedom, creativity, and flexibility I'd wanted from the beginning. By the end of 2025, I found myself rebuilding again, but this time, I knew I didn't want to repeat what I'd done before.
After more than a decade of experience in design, branding, marketing, websites, and the strategy behind building a business online, I saw a hidden passion I hadn't explored yet. For most of my adult life, I've been fascinated by the symbolism, numerology, crystals, energetic practices, and the meaning we give to the things surrounding us.
TRULYOURSELF is where those worlds get to collide. Phase one of this dream is creating a clothing line featuring designs that represent what you're moving toward, what you're releasing, and who you're becoming.
Phase two is still a secret.
I started by asking more questions. Things like, 'What do I actually want to do with my life?,' 'What kind of work do I want to create?,' 'How do I want to show up in the world?' And, more importantly, 'how do I want to make an impact before my own time is up?'
That's what I mean by 'heal out loud.' Not to perform for other people, but to give yourself permission to grow, change, start over, take up space, and be seen while you're becoming your best self.
I'm building this in real time, being my most authentic self, to build something that helps people during their own times of growth and transition. I don't have a five-year plan neatly tied up with a bow. I just know I want to create and design things that matter, I want to make a positive impact, and build a life that feels fulilling because I'm tapping into my best self.
There's something so powerful about giving an internal shift an external expression by wearing the intention, saying it out loud, and surrounding yourself with reminders of the life you are stepping into.
